I have a list of criteria for a tragic hero and I'm having trouble connecting Cleopatra to them. It would be really great if you guys could help me out a bit.
A hero in Shakespearean tragedy can be described as:
- having problems that test an area of him(her)self that is deficient.
- being unable to turn away from said problems.
- becoming obsessed with said problems.
- and then having such a large affect on those around him that when (s)he falls, so do they.
Thank you!
