I just saw 2001: A Space Odyssey with HAL 9000 singing Daisy Bell and it jogged my memory of hearing it in something else but I can't place the character OR movie! They were muttering it, probably to themselves, and they were being grumpy about it. They got through the lines, "Daisy, Daisy, Give me your answer true. I'm half crazy all for the love of you."
