...else is out there? I know about Trek and Cannonale and those are fine bikes. I had a steel Bianchi road bike and I LOVED it. I finally wrecked, crashing into a wall to avoid a toddler. I am going to buy a new road bike and I am considering a Bianchi Brava, but I wonder: What else is there?

Please suggest a road bike for me. Keep in mind that I am not spending more than $1000 USD, I am not a Campy snob - Shimano is fine, and I am 40 years old so I am not training for the TDF- however I plan to do 4 or more centuries a year. Thanks!!
