Does he have any status? Non Christian faiths have certain views of Jesus.

Islam, for example, believe Jesus was a great and important prophet. They believe in his virgin birth, miracles, and much more.

Other faiths hold Jesus as an important, though not necessarily Devine, figure.

How does Judaism view Jesus?

Hi Woodsey,..Judaism HATES Jesus with a seething, & unspeakable malace,.. They HATE him far worse than they "hate" any other one figure in history. They HATED him when he was alive, & they HATE him, now today,..They HATED him when they had him nailed up, & they would nail him up again today, if they could, Not only do they HATE Jesus, but they also HATE Christianity & they especially despise those Christian, that are dumb enough to support Zionism. Judaism teaches that Jesus' real father, was a Roman soldier, who fathered him, while Mary was screwing around as a prostitute,..Judaism teaches that Jews, are the "Chosen People of God", & that only Jews"s are human, & that, non-Jews were, were created, only to serve Jews, & that the Jews are destined to "Rule the World." Now, of course not ALL Jews hold these attitudes, but nevertheless, this is what Judaism" teaches",..and many Jews get a dose of these teachings, along with there mother's milk,... .

Judaism rejected Jesus, as the Messiah during His life on Earth. Jewish traditions have kept that non-acceptance going for 2000-years. He was rejected because the Temple system of that day was corrupt and the theocratic leaders wanted their Messiah to overthrow Roman rule, and return them to positions of greater power. Jesus didn't come to involve Himself with the political intrigues of the day, but to teach God's will for the people, and with His death, to terminate the Covenant with Israel.

Other than Messianic Jews, Jesus means nothing to Judaism. They do not see him as a prophet like the Islamics or the messiah like the Christians.
