special interests?
The Republican and Democratic parties in particular.

I don't see the point in political parties other than making it easier for big business to buy out their interests, since they can always depend on a nice little system that's set for them.
@O'Ryan

I don't worship the Democrats. Again, you're such a moron with your comments and it sounds like you're sucking the tyts of the Repubs.

Why shouldn't campaigns be financed by the people instead of by special interests? Why shouldn't we just pay to get the candidates to all tell us what they're going to do and set up a process for the candidates in which every bit of it has to do about the people and not about the special interests?

they have the same purpose, to divide and conquer. they are all the same guys in different suits. republicans dont give a shit about God, jobs or apple pie and democrats could care less about the poor, minorities or the environment. They want your vote and the fat checks, and will say whatever they have to to get them.

The purpose is that each party represents the opposite end of the political spectrum. The political parties themselves are just shells, it is the philosophies that make the parties function.

Like what, labor unions?

Anyways, notice that the Democrats that you worship had absolute control of the federal government for two years and have had 2/3 control since 2007 (January) and they still haven't even considered removing Clinton's DOMA? Eh, they will keep stringing you along.
