I found a kitten in my neighborhood on Wednesday, she's been to the vet, had shots, gotten a clean bill of health and is scheduled to be spayed soon.
Since I have 4 cats of my own, I can't keep her(as much as I want to) so I need to find her a new home. Any animal I've fostered in the past have gone to family members or friends who I knew would take fantastic care of the animal, and they have, but now no one I know has the time/money/room for a kitten, so I'm being forced to branch out and rehome her to someone I don't know. I was going to put an ad on Craigslist(as much I don't want to, since its sketchy, but I have no other options) and I was going to have potential owners email me and answer questions, kind of like a background check, before I considered their home for this beautiful little kitten who I've grown quite attached to.
So I was wondering what type of questions I should ask.
If anyone has rehomed an animal on CL, what questions did you ask potential owners?
If you can give me a list of things to ask, or even a premade questionnaire, I'd be grateful.
