why can't you go live with your mom? you should ask your grandma, and tell her what he does and says and maybe she'll help you or ask him for you.
What should I do about Verbal abuse?

Ok heeey 
Well I'm 13 years old (almost 14)
but my real problem is that i hate my dad.
My mom moved away in the summer because she got a job in Chicago so shes like 2 states away.. but I'm really close with her.
My dad, according to me and my mom is a physcotic, beer drinking, asshole, who treats everyone like shit
The reason i think that is because EVERYDAY, no lie.
My dad will start drinking and I will ask him something and he like goes off on me telling me how i am a useless piece of S*H*I*T and that i was born a mistake, I'm a slut, tattletale, i dont' try hard enough for anything, etc...
Yesterday my little brother who is 10 had this big science project that he procrastinated for 3 months, my dad knew about it but he didn't care to help. He was to lazy.
So Bobby(my brother) went and told me he needed to use the laptop and i told him to wait until i was done with my big project.
Then Bobby got all pissed off and went downstairs and told lies to my dad about what i said. Then my dad started yelling at me saying you fucktard bitch get off the F*u*c*k*ing computer right now and let your brother on! and i was like LET ME FINISH MY HOMEWORK! and he said Yeah right you never do your homework you are a screw up all you do is on your cell phone all the time (which im not!!). So i got off the laptop and let bobby on it and went outside to calm down...
about 30 minutes later Bobby comes screaming outside THE COMPUTER DOESNT WORK! And i said well thats not my problem it worked fine for me. Then he went inside and told my dad and bobby came back out and said dad is mad at you, you better come inside.
And i said no.
So then my dad came outside and i was on the phone with my mom and my dad was like "BITCH YOU BETTER GET THE FUCK INSIDE RIGHT NOW OR IM TAKING YOUR PHONE AND SHOVING IT UP YOUR ASS." So i was like "Gosh okay chill, I'm coming in." So i was walking up the steps on the porch and he was like "YOU BETTER MOVE FUCKING FASTER THEN THAT YOU SLUTT!" And i didn't say anything. And then i came inside he started yelling at me and cussing at me saying its my fault and shit.
And he said "I SWARE TO GOD IF YOU DONT GET THAT FUCKING COMPUTER WORKING IM GONNA HURT YOU SO BAD YOU'LL BE IN THE HOSPITAL!"
I tried to get the computer to work, and it wouldn't even turn on. I tried everything.
So i just like gave up trying and i was still talking to my mom.
And I was like mom did you hear dad, I can't stay here any longer he's killing me (cuz he smokes in the house) and he treats me like im nothing to him.
Then i had a mental breakdown and i was crying for hours. And my mom said she loved me but she had to go.
The main reason is, i don't know what to do. i can't go live with my mom but i don't wanna stay here with my dad. And i could go live with my grandma but im to scared my dad will say no and hurt me...
What should I do??

Well -- assuming this is all true.....
why can't you go live w/ your mom? What's up with that -- Do you tell her what he's doing?!?!? I don't understand who she could leave you and your brother there knowing how he is. That's doesn't make sense to me. You got to tell her she's got to come get you!!! She's your mom for God sake -- she can't just leave you w/ some nut case. Makes no sense. that she would just take off and leave her kids -- if you can't rely on your parents, then maybe you should tell someone at school what's going on and take your chances in foster care. It's scary -- but your dad's not gonna change any time soon, so at least there would be a CHANCE you'd get in a better living environment. In the mean time.... PRAY for a solution. God can work ANYTHING out. Believe me when I say so -- it's true!
