My bf n I don't really hang out during the day bc I have 2 jobs. Whenever we see each other it's during the night. I've changed my schedule so that we can have one day all to ourselves. We live in a small town so there's not much to do. He loves to eat so we planned to make dinner but I have to decide wat we can cook. PLZ help! Any suggestions on something easy n romantic hahaha

Pizza, make the dough yourselves. Picture Demi and Patrick Swayzee in Ghost as you are kneading the dough.........
By the way omit the garlic in the pizza.

If you want something a bit "meatier".
Grilled steak a baked potato, toss some veggies on the grill.

Dessert, chocolate fondue. Dip strawberries, raspberries, pieces of pound cake, marshmallows, pretzels, cookies and anything else you can think of to dip.

Well, any meal you share together will be romantic. So make something you're good at. But fondue is always a fun meal to have with the one you love.

Linguini with White Clam Sauce
8 oz. linguini
2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) minced clams
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons olive or salad oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons chopped parsley

Cook linguini as label directs; drain in colander and keep hot.
Meanwhile, drain clams, reserving liquid. In 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, in hot butter and oil, cook garlic and parsley until garlic is lightly browned. Add clam liquid to butter mixture. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in clams. Heat to boiling. Toss sauce with pasta until well coated.
(4 1/2 cups - 4 servings)

Pasta is always easy to make, and it looks fancy and romantic too. I have a great recipe for a "fake-bake ziti", it seems like a lot of ingredients but most of them are the basics in a kitchen. Also, make the sauce firs because it takes more time than the pasta to cook...

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 3 turns of the pan
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 (28-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1 (14-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
Coarse salt
A handful fresh basil leaves, torn
1 pound ziti rigate, with ridges
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Freshly ground black pepper
2 cups whole milk (or evaporated for a creamier sauce)
1/2 cup shredded asiago cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmigiano-Reggiano
1 cup sliced fresh mozzarella

Directions
Put pasta water on to boil.

In a medium sauce pot over medium heat, saute garlic in extra-virgin olive oil. Chop whole tomatoes and add them to the pan. Add crushed tomatoes and salt and simmer 10 minutes, add basil and simmer over low heat 10 minutes more.

Add salt and pasta to boiling water and cook 6 minutes, leaving pasta a little chewy.

While pasta cooks, melt butter in a small pot over medium heat. Whisk in flour, then cook 1 minute, adding salt and pepper and nutmeg to flour. Add milk and bring sauce to a bubble. Reduce 5 minutes.

Drain pasta and transfer to a large casserole dish. Pour the tomato and basil sauce over the pasta and turn to coat the pasta. Pour the bechamel over the already coated pasta. Cover the top of the pasta with Asiago, Parmesan and mozzarella. Place the casserole under hot broiler and melt the 3 cheeses until brown and bubbly, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve immediately with Spinach and Artichoke Salad and bread.
