I just bought a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab with TRD package. The previous owner put bigger tires on the thing, but the back two have really worn-down treads. The size is LT285 75R16 A/T, but the width of the front tires causes them to rub while making sharp turns, and I'd like to change width at least for the front. Am I going to need new wheels for smaller-width tires on the front? I like the height of the tires as it is right now, but the rubbing on the front feels like a problem.
