...is best? If you are a police officer, or a former police officer, I really would like to know you opinion on this point !!!
I have cruise control in my car and I want to use it to be a good citizen, I want to do what is right.
If I am driving on a road with signs that are posted with a 60 mph limit, should I set my cruise for exactly 60 mph, and then have lots of people behind me, cursing at me for going so slow, and then needing to pull over every few miles to let them go by?
Or should I set the cruise control to a slightly higher speed, perhaps 5 mph higher ( to 65 ) ? But if I do this won't I be breaking the law and this is not right. When you are not in your police car and you are going shopping for groceries, and you are driving in a 60-zone, what speed would you set your cruise control for if you were to do such a thing?
Thanks and have a nice day !
Thanks, I'm going to do just that.
I'll set my cruise control to exactly the speed limit, and then when if I have a car behind me for a few miles and there is no way for him to pass me (due to too much traffic), I'll just pull to the side and let him pass, so I won't be a major pain in the butt for other drivers needing to rush to work or pick up their kids at school, or other things like that.
I want to do the right thing and obey ALL the laws, at the same time I don't want to get under the skin of others who want to or need to go much faster.
