Find a good used bike to learn on. I know you do not want to hear any rubbish about starting on an old standard or enduro but they are the way to go for a new rider. At your age, male with no experience insurance will be really high so do yourself a favor and find out about that cost before you actually buy a bike. I got a CBR600 when I was your age and was very surprised to find out the insurance was nearly $2500 a year. Now at 32 I pay under $230 a year for three bikes and two of those are sportbikes, so check with an insurance agent before buying any bike. Because you are a new rider, and chances are you will skip the underpowered learning bike, remember a 600 will do 150+mph.

I was in ur position bro...i went with a 250, though it is a great bike and fun i regret not getting somthing bigger...it took me bout 2 weeks to get sick of the power...u should look at a 500, like the ninja 500 or a suzuki 500, or if u wanna take a chance get a 600 or 650, like a cbr 600, r6, or even the ninja 650: but be very very careful if u do this...take it very easy and practice in like a parking lot to get used to the throttle and the power: deffinatly dont go bigger thab the 650 cause with no experiance ull probally die....personally im on a dual sport thing right now, im getting a drz400s and im gonna mod it up so itll be very quick but wont have over 100 so i dont end up in jail haha;) but if for some reason that doesnt work out ill probally go with a zx6r or a cbr600 maybe a r6

Build up gradually to more sportier bvikes and bigger CC, dont be fooled into buying a 600 - 750 - 1000 it will be a death wish...

Start on something like a 250 or 500

This is considered to be one of the best starter bikes. Not too powerful, not too aggressive of a riding position, but with sport bike style looks, most people will think you're riding a 600cc or 1000cc sport bike. The other thing that you need to see is the specs. With a respectable 52 horsepower, and being so light weight, it will go 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, and will do a quarter mile in the high 12's. This is supercar territory.

Pros:
cheap insurance
great gas mileage
Looks like a super sport
Cheaper than the 650

on eyou like to sit on really that easy youy know a look of a bike go sit on a few you wil know once you sit on right bike
