Okay so I am 17 almost 18 I am a shourt kid that dosent way to much. I have allways wanted a crouch rocket. I had heard that a 250cc would be a good starter bike for me what do you think.....I want a nice looking bike a 2007 ninja 250 are ugly....so what bike should I look at. It needs to be a good price to

well you shouldn't really. Kids are irresponsible and we do dumb things on the road because we think we are invincible (yes i said "we" i am 19). I am a good driver, never been in an accident and only have one speeding ticket but i still do stupid shit from time to time that looking back wasn't the best decisions. I've had some friends get in some pretty serious car accidents because of that. I know you're gonna think that "i'm responsible and i won't do stupid things" but you will every teen does it. Remember a motor cycle has no protection other then helmet and leathers. I had a 19 year old friend die because a car pulled out in front of him and he went over his handle bars and head first into a tahoe, wearing a helmet and all but still was killed. It's just not safe for such a young age.

older models are good to learn on. first time crotch rocket and beginner rider, im guessing beginner rider cause usually and experienced one will know what he/she wants, there is nothing wrong with an older bike. 250 may be good to learn on, but youll out grow it pretty quickly. once you get the hang of it youll be wanting something a little bigger. not much, personally id look into bikes between 250-600 cc. older yahama/suzuki/honda cbr's are good ones. stick to 95+ in year for cbr if you go that way. honda will be cheaper, i once picked up a 96 cbr 600 for $1500 that was in great shape. just shop around and dont trust anyone that says "its been babied". any used bike you may as well go in knowing its been abused a bit. so expect it.

Hey bro,I'm of ur age too. What I suggest you is go for a cbr250r for a sports bike with acceptable mileage and good looks.Other than that there's pulsar 220.Super Looks, gud mileage and since its an indian bike,it can be repaired almost anywhere and everywhere in india.I was planning for a harley. But seeing the roads and traffic in mumbai I'm planning on dropping the idea.and incase u want costlier bikes then there's always bmw and honda. But always remember that beyond ur utility point it becomes ur luxury.Like me planning for my harley was luxury and not utility. So also think of it practically. And do lemme know which one u take.:D And cbr250r and pulsar are super bikes in the sports range! ;)
