What the hell fell on the Rogers Centre field all game last night?

Pieces of pink foam that were nearly weightless floated on the field about every 15 minutes, sometimes delaying the game. About the size of a jumbo pizza box. The roof was open so they likely came from a nearby condo. Cannot find any mention of it online.

I was there yesterday night and boy was it hilarious. It was like tons of spuds coming from the 500-level, some fan was making them and was letting them float down to the field.

They had one guy who ran out there as fast as he could to crush the spuds, it was epic. When he was running, the fans were cheering him like crazy, this guy was so fast and when he got to the outfield (this is like for the third time after someone had released the spuds, he just started stomping on thme like crazy! It was great!

I don't think it was coming from a condo, it would have had to cross some major streets and have to fall right to the field. Check on Sportconnected, they might mention it and at the end of the week it will probably be in their highlights of the week.

The foam was not coming from the 500 level, nor was it coming from the condos nearby. I live in a condo next to Rogers Centre, and noticed these big pink foam rectangles about 2 m by 1 m flying from somewhere northwest of here, maybe around Queen and Bathurst or even west of that. One piece of foam landed in the Toyota on Front parking lot, one go hit by a cab on Front Street and blew right up into hundreds of pieces. One went between my building and the next and towards the Rogers Centre. They were almost weightless (duh!) and would float up in thermals. I have no idea where the hell they came from.... I wish someone could explain this. I've googled this a lot and this is the first reference I've found about this.

Maybe it was some kind of art thing? It was kinda like soap...
