What time can Gizmo from Gremlins eat?

All they say is he cant eat after midnight. What time can Gizmo eat? What happens if he eats after midnight? Since he cant get wet does he not need to drink water?
 
they didn't mention it in the movie but probably not between midnight and morning.
If fed after midnight, a mogwai will spin a cocoon and undergo metamorphosis, turning into a wicked, trouble making gremlin.
this is too not mentioned in the film but maybe he can drink.there is difference between drinking and getting wet.
 
WAIT .. ur suppose to feed him
well that explains why hes not moving ..
 
Before midnight. He goes crazy, and he can drink water, he just can't spill it on himself.
