So i already have a 5.5 gallon tank with small gravel.
I am going to buy a silk plant for the betta
and i already have this decor from a previous goldfish i got for free from a friend (he lived for quite a while but i got him on short notice so i couldnt afford a bigger tank) The decor is 2 barrels this is what they look like http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752216
i got it for my other fish because he really enjoyed hiding in it but will it harm the betta because it looks really nice and i would like to keep it in the fish tank, i also have a light should i use it or not. It is not a heat light it is too little to produce heat it is just for light purposes so do betta like light shined on them?
I already have a heater and a filter but i am afraid the filter is a little to strong current wise for a betta so how can i make it less of a current
and what food should i buy and what else should i get for my male betta?
