what to clean your ear with?

I pierced my own ear (the lobe) and I was cleaning it with alcohol, but it didn't seem to work and now its infected and it made the piercing bleow it infected too. Was alcohol the right thing to clean it with?

No alcohol isn't good for it. You need to go to the store and buy ear cleaning solution. That is best.

That's what I used. Also try putting a cotton ball behind the lobe while you sleep.

The claire's {store} ear solution worked wonders on my ears.
I recommend that you use a cotton ball to apply it though.
Alcohol must have had a reaction on you, so don't use it again.

Maybe even go to Shoppers Drug Mart-they will recommend some products to you.

Try peroxide. It will fight the infection better. Why pierce your own ear? It is like $10 at the mall.
