lol. I know this sounds silly, but as a kid I grew up near the beach, so whenever we wanted to go to the beach it was a walk on the beach during autumn or a summer afternoon playing in the water before driving home. However, now I've lived away from the beach for about fifteen years and somehow spending a whole weekend just playing in the water doesn't sound like the summer vacation I can talk my familiy into--though we do like the idea of going to the beach.
Before, we weren't considered "tourists" when we went to the beach, so I'm not so savy on what tourists do at the beach. So, what are some things you like to do on your beach vacation that might be fun (we have a kid, so age appropriate as well). Thanks for your help!
