what to do with this 1990 240 DL volvo ?

the car is inexcellent condition with about 105k miles on it. the thing is that there is some sort of electronic problem that doesn't allow the car to start. taking it to the mechanic is very expensive and with four other cars im looking to get rid of this car. how should i do it? if i sell it, for how much should i ask?

replace the alternator.done.

You could attempt to sell for parts but that may be difficult. You could donate it and get the tax write off? You may want to look into that a little bit more though.
