What tools do I need to begin Android App development?

I am a college student looking to get started in Android development, and I was wondering if anyone knew all the tools/programs I need to get started.

That website kind of helped, I got the SDK and some other tools, but it didn't work for me. Does anyone know all the tools/programs I need, or where to find a master list? I have been looking and trying different pieces for a few days, and could not get anything to work. Any help would be great.

you need Eclipse with the Android plug in.

without Eclipse the SDK won't work.
