OK, here's my problem.
I had a weld done on my 1996 Volkswagen Jetta GL (2.0L Engine - 5 Speed Transmission)
and after the weld was completed I didn't get 1/4 mile down the road and my Jetta went
effing INSANE.
My gauges were going nuts, my RPMs were flying around, check engine light was flashing
and then the car died.
I had some people tell me the welder should have disconnected the battery before putting
it on a lift and grounding the welder to it.
I don't know, I'm not a welder...
So, I know on the electronic clip (to hook up to check the codes its throwing) there are always
two letters you can stick a paperclip in to cross and flash the computer.
I know its going to be "A" and something, but can't find the second letter.
If anyone knows about this I sure could use the information...
Also, when I do flash it, does the key need to be on, off, or the car running...
Thanks.
