What type of Karate am i doing? II?

Take a notebook with you to class and make notes. Write the correct name of the Kata down and ask for help with the spelling. Notebooks are great for reference later. If you go to class in school you take notes so why not in martial arts as well.
As others have said it is hard to tell what Kata you are referring to. There are 5 Pinan Kata.
Pinan Shodan (Pinan one)
Pinan Nidan (Pinan two)
Pinan Sandan (Pinan three)
Pinan Yondan (Pinan four)
Pinan Godan (Pinan five)
There are three Naihanchi Kata
Naihanchi Shodan (Naihanchi one)
Naihanchi Nidan (Naihanchi two)
Naihanchi Sandan (Naihanchi three)
As you may have figured out the words shodan, nidan, sandan merely refer to which number form in the series of forms. So whatever the name of the series of forms is you have three of them in there that you remember, maybe more. It's a good guess that your forms are the Heian which would make your style Shotokan.
Another thing to write down in your notebook and learn is the full name of your style and who was the founder.
