It seems pretty unbelievable now, that people would publically burn a person based on such flimsy evidence. And it was not that long ago either.

The Christian Church taught hatred and fear, and used those to keep the faithful in line. When women, whom the Roman Church still hates, began to show signs of free thought and action, the various faiths needed to crush that, and fast, so ...
