What was so funny about that Jacob line in Eclipse?

It was when he said he kissed Bella, and she punched him and so on. Why was that funny? I don't get it! :S
 
I thought it was funny because Bella broke her hand by punching Jacob..she meant to hurt him and it turned out vise versa. Also, girls just like when he talks:) hopefully you understand now
