I gotta tell ya, Bella, I used to be absolutely fascinated with Nostradamus and spent a nice chuck of money on his Complete Works in their Best Translation.
I poured through that huge book for over a month and did not make one lick of sense out of the entire thing.
I would have tossed the book if it had not cost so much damned money!
Why?
Okay, imagine if you will a huge book that is not written like a fictional novel ..... like the Bible or the Complete Works of William Shakespeare.
Now, tear out every single page AND cut every single page into 4 pieces.
Then .... toss them up in the air!
Now read them.
That is EXACTLY what Nostradamus did, he mixed it all up in fear of being caught and prosecuted for heresy.
99% of it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Half of its obscure, the other half could have literally dozens of meanings.
And nothing is in order.
We have NO idea if ANY of his predictions have ever happened.
We have no idea if his predictions were about HIS time in this world, or in the far future.
An intelligent opinion would be that he was trying to predict his OWN time ..... not a thousand years into the future, where nothing could ever be proven.
What would the point be?
We honestly could take pretty much any of his predictions and match them to several events, long past and present.
Well, that's not exactly true ..... a great deal of that book is completely meaningless to us today.
Lost in time and translation.
It is all up to interpretation and what someone wishes to believe.
It IS interesting though TO compare some of the events .... and wonder.
