I've seen a lot of photos of that cruise ship that capsized in the Mediterranean. It has taken on a lot of water but it doesn't look like it will completely sink. What are they going to do with it, ultimately? Is it just going to stay there on the reef polluting everything with oil and gasoline/diesel and all the chemicals and whatnot inside? Are they going to try to repair it and return it to service (is that even possible?) Are they going to disassemble it and sell if for scrap (I'm guessing that's what they're going to do, but are they going to disassemble it right there in the sea?) Or... what else? Maybe tow it to deeper waters where it can sink completely?

they will pump out the oils and fuel from the tanks, and probably strip the boat on site and get as much weight off and then refloat the underwater sections and tow it away to India for scrap.
