I'm doing a seminar in history and I can choose the topic, provided it is somehow related to wars in Napoleon's era.
I'm interested in studying prominent individuals... I was going to do it on someone in the military like Ney or Blucher, but I think my teacher wanted me to do a female... so maybe his Polish mistress Maria Walewska? Or even his mother. I'm just not sure how much scope or resources I could have if I did one of them.
So, if anyone knows of anyone really interesting I could do my seminar on, during Napoleon's time, please let me know
preferably someone who had a lot of influence.
