prior knowledge? Old Testament, then New Testament (If they're Christians).

They don't have any prior knowledge of anything that is in the Bible. How would Christianity/Judaism be like?
jpark43- Also, they wouldn't know that Lord God, God, and Lord were the same entity.

Just like it is today....

Many Christians have No prior knowledge of what transpired when these books were actually written...the people , the language, the time period , the events....Or even how the 72 books of the Bible were decided on , and who chose them as sacred scripture..ie..who determined that they were authentic and not heretical...Most Christians are told to read the Bible alone for authority, with NO education or understanding of how the old testament full fills the new in ways found deeper that what is on the surface...Without Authority to say what is correct or inaccurate....The Bible is the Most philosophical and intellectual book of all time , no one man or group of men have written anything like it ever since....Now add the fact that the Bible is compiled from scripture written thousands of years apart , by different people who never met.. yet it is a living book that is timeless, and as relevant today as it was when it was first compiled....in and around 390 AD...meaning for the first few centuries the Bible was in 72 different pieces all throughout the middle east , Africa, and Italy ...Yet Christianity flourished & thrived. and grew without having a single ONE BOOK is the Bible.. for the First 1500 hundred years of Christianity The Mass , the Eucharist , and the Catholic Church was the ONLY form of Christianity...until people began to read the Bible and interpret it for themselves...that has led us to where we are today.....

God Bless
