What would happen if I didn't pay the taxi driver?

ok if i got in a taxi and he drove me to wherever i want to go, and i didnt have any money at the end. what would he do? take me to the police? would i get a fine?
 
I imagine the same thing as if you stole shit from a store and tried to walk out...
 
I think you`ll get fine. In Perth, there was a man who called on the same cab twice. The man did not pay the Taxi Driver instead he bunched him.
The Taxi Driver was injured. He told Channel 7 that he would not dare to drive his taxi any more. Not long, the Police caught that man. He was heavily fine and went to jail because the Taxi camera caught him red handed, too.
It`s very foolish to do things like that.
