What would happen if i put the Verizon V06 software on my Telus lg dare 9700?

I found a tutorial on how to put the verizon V06 on lg dare. BUt thats verizons and im on telus in canada so..... Would it brick it? Would i just not be able to connect to telus? Would it work and i would have the awsome Verizon music player?
