what would happen if you drove with diesel in a gas snowmobile?

if i put diesel in my snowmobile drove it then parked it, and it wouldnt start again, do you think it was diesel that did it or a mechanical problem? it wont even turn over when i turn the key

drain gas tank and lines, then clean out the carbs if you have carbs if not then flush out injectors then get fresh gas and everything should be fine. Also replace fuel filter
