What would I have to get to transfer VHS tapes to DVD?

I have all of the classical Disney Animation movies on VHS. I would like to know how I would be able to transfer them to DVD without spending too much. I would buy the Digitally Remastered ones, but I figure that would cost a lot.

I wish they still made movies on VHS... It's not like one accidental scratch can leave them unusable.
