What years and Sub model did honda make a mono shock design on their Shadows?

Im looking for a 2000 to 2003 Honda Shadow and have seen a few mono shock shadows but cant narrow down the year or exact model that have it.
Anyone know if the Shadow ever had a mono shock design or is it just the VLX?
