...must have good memory? Guys, I have this crappy little emachines D-620 that I bought in December 2008. It works OK, but the battery sucks, it's so burnt out now that I can't even take it off the plug adapter for even more than 20-30 minutes without it crying, "I'm dying, help me..." I'm like FOH, you're not even that old you piece of crap! I use my laptop mostly to go on FB, update my resume on MS Word, read emails, and watch some movies once in awhile. Any HD movies or YouTube clips I watch cannot be viewed properly due to the super tiny GB hard drive and RAM, so I need one that's got tons of memory but doesn't cost a fortune and has good reviews. I know I can go to cnet.com, but I wanna ask you guys. Dell I know sucks cuz 4 of my co-workers have Dell Laptops, and each one eventually has that adapter cord breakdown (seems like a hidden scam by Dell) where it stops charging and gets loose or whatever... HP I've heard is equally douch-ey... so let me know!

ASUS is always number #1

Asus has the best reliability record for the last 2+ years. See below:

The other poster is right on the money, but I'm not sure if any of the ones he pointed out have Blu-Ray capability. But this one does:
