whats a good place to vacation in the united states in march?

my husband and our 6 month old daughter want to take a vacation in march. We live in wisconsin and will be going to tennessee for a couple of days so my dad can meet the baby. Then we want to go somewhere just the 3 of us but we dont know where to go we want a relaxing getaway somewhere beautiful and affordabe we will be driving and our budget is under $1000 any sugestions?
