Whats a good suv to buy?

*sigh Ive spent almost a week now researching for the perfect suv and I still havent come
to a conclusion

My budget is $20000 but would like to spend around 16-17 if possible.

I want a bit of luxury which also why my search isnt working so great. (for that price your not going to find too many)

Reliability and Gas would be main priority.
Then looks and everything else.

A mid-size SUV is the ideal size. Not too big but not small ( a little bit more on the bigger size though)

I live in GA

I wont be taking many trips so a 7-8 passenger car is not really needed.
but comfortability and power would should be ok (v6)

I would like a suv with a mean look so that would be a plus but like i said its a secondary priority.

So can you guys help me...?

I wont do American Cars ......so keep that in mind

Any information would be appreciated

my advice don't buy anything from the dealership if the tag says 16grand ur walking out 21G. so they are rip off's
 
Toyota RAV4.It's reliable (compared to the competitors) and it offers nice features and quality.Off road capability is excellent and the cargo is pretty huge for it's size.The size is also ideal for urban use.
