What's a good Toyota truck that's isn't too expensive but still a great truck?

Im looking to get a 2009-11 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport.. So far I hear its a great truck anyone here have any experience with it? Pros/Cons to maybe getting an american brand truck??
 
Depends on what you plan to use it for.

If you plan to do a lot of towing/hauling, I would go with a Chevy or Ford diesel.

Just regular driving and not a lot of hauling/towing, the Tacoma is adequate, but a Tundra is better and doesn't use a heck of a lot more gas. The Tacoma V6 is not real good on gas. (I know because my neighbor has one) His Tacoma and my Tundra V8 get close to the same MPG, but I have a lot more power at my disposal.
 
I knew a guy that had one. Real cool feature, the radio turned up the volume with your speed. The catch was it turned itself all the way up everytime you started the truck and they refused to warantee it.

I'd look at an F-150 or maybe a smaller chevy.
