What's a sexy sci-fi type costume to wear to a pop culture convention?

I'm planning on going to next year's Supernova convention and I need ideas for a costume. So far I have Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood, and Uhura from Star Trek. More ideas would be great. Thanks =]
 
Try Wilma Deering's outfit from the 70's Buck Rogers show. Fanservice in its purest form.
 
Pick one of the female leads from firefly, any of them.

Or, you could go as a robot...

Also you can modify any sort of costume to be sexy, though in the end it has more to do chocolate bar, than the wrapper.

Just do what you think is awesome, no one will fault you for doing things your way... Or at least they shouldn't, but you know how people can get.
