What's an interesting topic to write on about Vision?

For this assignment I have to write about an area of research in the topic of Vision, and I have to explore that research biologically. (e.g., Vision loss --> result of abused cones/rods, and then I'd expand on that)

Is there any interesting topics that I could write on? It's a second year college essay for BioPsychology class and I'm searching on PubMed.

Hmm.. the topics I'm looking for are more along the lines of experimentation in research. (in regards to Vision)
