Whats better, VW Golf TDI Vs BMW 318i?

The golf has 160,000km at $16,000, 2006 model, 2.0L
or
The BMW has 220,000km at 13,000, 2002 model, 2.0L

what is better????
 
it all depends on what you're looking for in a car. the TDI has good gas mileage, seats 4 comfortably, and still has room for cargo in the back. the 3-series is an excellent sports sedan, but you'll be spending a lot more on gas, insurance, and repairs. the BMW also has RWD, so it could be an issue if you have bad winters in your area. you just need to decide whether your want a sport sedan or an economic hatchback, but they're both good cars in my opinion.
