Whats considered "High Fashion"? :)?

Im doing a project and I need to find outfit ideas that are high fashion! What type of clothes are 2011 high fashion? I don't want big names like Chanel because I'm buying these things so I'm trying to look good but not wear my saving in one day *meaning spend a crap load of money* :)
are high waist pencil skirts high fashion?
What type of shirts are high fashion?
Accessories?

Its hard to say what is high fashion right now because theres always trends, but high fashion is high fashion because it's unpredictable.
Go look on lookbook.nu! That website always gives me inspiration.
