Everyday there is a clear, almost milky looking liquid in my fishes' bowl. I don't know what it is and clean it on a daily basis. I have two female betta fish in a bowl together. This liquid almost looks like mucus, and I'm not sure how it's getting there. My fish get stuck in it sometimes and I'm wondering if there's something I can do to prevent it from getting in/ growing in the bowl. I use a water conditioner everytime I clean their bowl, so why is this happening? Does anyone know what it it?
