This is a bit weird. Ok, me and my girl were on our way to the laundromat 2 blocks from our house. On the way over there, we ran into a gray/white-colored stray cat just roaming around the street. It looked at us and immediately came over, meowing the whole time, begging for attention, it's tail went up, it started purring, and it kept trying to rub against us.
We felt so sad for it. My girl wanted to take it, so did I but I was like you know we don't know where this cat has been or if it has any diseases. We don't know any of that. We thought it was hungry so we tried to offer it some cookies but it didn't want it. So we spent a couple more minutes with it, it even sat down next to us on the sidewalk. After that we left to go to the laundromat.
Now. 5 minutes later, I went back to the house to do something really quick. On the way over there, I suddenly saw the same cat again FOLLOWING ME home! It was literally sneaking/running behind the parked cars and following me. It kept meowing and yearning for attention. So it accompanied me up to my front gate, I went inside the gate and closed it. The cat fit right through the bars and sat on the steps, meowing at me.
So what I did was walk around the back of the house and went through the back door. This thing CONTINUED TO FOLLOW ME around the back of the house all the way up to the back screen door. I closed the screen door and it stood there looking right at me like if its sad or something.
I'm just curious what does this mean? Why was the cat being so persistent with us and following us around? All jokes aside, I know many of you are gonna poke fun at this, but could this cat possibly be reincarnated or something? I recently lost my mom and my best friend altogether a short time ago. I'm just saying, I don't know, maybe not...
Either way, I don't think taking this cat it would be a good idea, for health reasons, that is. Thoughts/comments?
