My music technology tutor mentioned that MP3 formats take away some of the quality of the sound and have something that compresses the space it takes up. And hides the stuff that it thinks that people don't hear. But that's the only format that I listen to XD cus I have an MP3 player and hence the name, it only plays MP3.
