I'm moving from NYC to Philly in a month since I found a job thats located in Port Richmond which I believe is in the Near Northeast section of Philly. I have never been to this area and have virtually no idea of what the best areas to live in are. Hence I don't even know what areas to look for apartments on Craigslist. I realize that I will have to get a car but don't want my daily ride to be too long. I just want to move in to a decent somewhat fun SAFE place for a single girl to live in. Any suggestions ??
