What's the best way to introduce a new dog to my ferrets?

I have two ferrets (two years and one year old respectively), and I'm in the process of adopting a dog. I've stayed away from terrier breeds (they're notorious for being mousers) but was wondering if anyone has advice on socializing the animals together. Thanks!
