I would like to know exactly what the difference is. I have a Jeep Cherokee, but most of the subwoofer boxes for Trucks/SUV's don't have a big enough mounting depth for my subwoofers. I am looking at a car subwoofer box that actually fits my subs. Should I be looking at Truck boxes or does it really matter?

Jeep's are SUV's so they don't need "truck boxes." truck boxes are shallower, but have a wider body for more cubic feet that leads to more airspace. That is the only way to put a subwoofer in a pickup truck. The jeep cherokee is an SUV that can have car subwoofer boxes in the trunk without a problem. My friend has a huge box with 3 JL 13w7's in his Jimmy. No custom fit needed, but it will sound really good. You have a perfect car for bass to be hitting in it, because the bass will not have blockage like cars do with the seats. Get the box you want and put it in the car. Have fun with it!
