I'm kind of in this bet with my teacher.
He gave us this big list of things and we were supposed to write if they were good things to do or bad things. (Its a long story) I said that rumors were a bad thing, and gossip was ok.
He said that there isn't a difference between them and I said that there definitely was.
I know that there is a difference but I can't really get it into words.
I was thinking that rumors are just things you hear about, but not from the source. Gossiping is stuff that you know is true, and you just tell people.
