after reading the specs on both links I think the only difference is price so I would get the one from Wal-Mart

I was looking for a small fishing boat not to expensive. I was wonder what the difference is between these two boats, besides the price? http://www.joessports.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2131689 and http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8187896&sourceid=1500000000000003260410&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8187896 Which one should i get?

The only difference that I can see be the length ie., Walmart is 7' 11" and the other is an 8 footer. Lotta' times stores/sellers wil go to the highest denominator and in this case it's only an inch (length of vessel). Both have motor mounts (bow & stern) and swivel seats. Basically all the other features are the same with maybe some small infractions butttt, we cannot forget that price difference, can we ;)!? There be a' lot of these type vessels on the market but, if you've set your mind on choosin' between the two then I'd go with the "Wally World" one and save the xtra buck$...;)
< ' ( (( > <

Note: Specifications on Joe's doesn't say what the beam width is, however "Wally World's" it's 49" and by just lookin' at them their pretty much the same. To reiterate ~ Walmart one;)...

Added: Did some checkin' and both the vessel's your lookin' at are the same (Pelican "Bass Raider" Pontoon Boat) ~ here be a' MUCH better price...

I like them both. Now the walmart brand is a better choice for the money and the craftsmanship. it is a little smaller but only inches. I also looked at several options. But as my father told me many years ago if I have a problem how is it handled. 2 links below for my choices. Go with what you know as the best for you. I like service and am willing to pay a little extra too get it. Sorry to make your choices a little more intense but you will have it for many years too come. PS I also have one and it was found.bought from one of the sites below and I live 15 min from a walmart. But also know that if not happy with purchase that is too bad no trade ins at walmart. either of these too stores will trade in and up as I did 2 months after I bought mine.

It's WalMart versus a local sports store. Walmart will win the pricing war everytime because their cost is much lower than the other guy.
