What's The Future For Chicago Bears?

are they always gonna focus on defense? their quarterback/offensive line/wide reciever issue? what are they gonna do about everything?

I think their future depends on what they can do to shore up that offense. The thing that amazes me is, that as good of a coach as Lovie Smith is, he still hasn't solved the offensive issues. He was in the super bowl a couple of seasons ago, so he is no fluke of a coach. The problem with him is that he doesn't seem to care about fixing that poor offense. They are in desperate need of an offensive line, WR's and a QB. I think the QB is the first problem they need to address. Right now is the time to go fishing in the free agency. They need to look at getting Jeff Garcia before another team like the Vikings snatches him up. Also they may have a slim chance at Kurt Warner if the Cards don't sign him which they will. Secondly, they need to take advantage of the weapons that the Bucs, Colts, and the Bengals let go. T.J. could be a prime receiver for that offense. Also Marvin Harrison. The Bears defense has always been solid, so that isn't the issue. The issue is fixing their horrible offense. If the Bears don't do that, then expect them to go back to their losing ways, and Smith will be fired. It depends on what they do in the draft and free agency.
