Pontiac: what's their future? I think part of their problem is that they got away from the successful formula that they used in the past: cars that were sporty, exciting, and powerful - the "widetrack" cars. Now, they, like so many others, are trying to copy foreign automakers with boring, generic cars. I used to have a Pontiac - it was great excitement to crank it up and listen to the roar of the engine. It was very reliable and solid; wish I would have kept it. Insurance companies with their arbitrary ratings and government micromanagement have also hurt Pontiac.
